the argument that flacs are not superior because it requires more space is even more specious. if it is more space that you want, then you have not been listening to flacs. unless you are a luddite, you do not have a problem with the disk space required for storing the same amount of information. the argument was not that there is a superior medium because it takes more space. it was that there is a superior medium because it is superior.
the only argument that leedh presented to suggest that mp3s are inferior was that they can lose information. if this is the only reason to suggest that mp3s are inferior, then the only reason to suggest that flacs are superior is because they are superior. that is the only reason why we are going to have superior products in the future.
